Cheesefoot Head circular from Winchester (hill walk

Details
A circular walk from Winchester Mill, across the water meadows and up St. Catherine's Hill all the way up for a coffee break at Cheesefoot Head (if the coffee van is there). The return journey follows a loop on the South Downs Way, passing through the village of Chilcomb, where we'll stop to visit St. Andrew's Church before returning to Winchester.
St Andrew's church is estled amongst the trees on the side of Deacon Hill with sweeping views westward down the valley towards Winchester and the Cathedral, this church remains little altered from the days of William the Conqueror. Few Churches can rival its setting and there is a moving beauty in its very simplicity.
