Old Winchester Hill, Exton and Meonstoke Circular ๐๐
Details
This is a beautiful circular route (7mi/11.5 km), which will take us through the Old Winchester Hill National Nature Reserve before dropping down into the Meon Valley to visit the villages of Exton and Meonstoke.
From the summit of the Old Winchester Hill, we will enjoy views over the rolling hills, an Iron Age hill fort and the earlier Bronze Age barrows or burial mounds.
Meet at 9:15 at the Old Winchester Hill car park . Ready to leave at 09:30.

GU32 1HW (free car park). Best to use whats3words as the post code might take you to the Meon Spring Fly Fisthery instead, at the bottom of the hill.
Please car sharing. It's good for the environment and more chances to find a parking space.
There will be a small charge of ยฃ2.00 per head per person for this walk on the day.
If something comes up and you can't make it, please cancel at least 48 hours in advance so someone else can take your spot.
Please bring a pack lunch/snacks for our stops a long the way. There's usually a cofee van parked just before the car park and a village store in Meonstoke.
Duration: under 3 hours plus breaks en route.
Terrain: Some ups and downs, tracks and paths which can be muddy. There'll be one stile to go over and couple of fallen trees on route. Make sure you are wearing appropriate footwear and clothing for this walk.
Dogs: Well-behaved dogs are allowed but must be kept on leads at all times.
