Winchester to Shawford River Walk

Join me for this afternoon walk along the Idyllic River Itchen.
Meet in front of the Cathedral Cafe at 14:15 for a 14:30 start.
We will walk from Winchester Cathedral through the Water Meadows and along the river to Shawford where we will stop at the Bridge for refreshments.
The walk is approx 3.6 miles, will be taken at a steady pace and is suitable for everyone of moderate fitness.
Those feeling up to it can walk back, alternatively Shawford Station is just across the road where there are regular trains to Winchester.
