Winchester to Hockley Viaduct - Circular Route

This circular walk of approx 4 miles takes us from Winchester through the Water Meadows and out to the historic Hockley Railway Viaduct where we will get great views over the River Itchen towards Winchester and St Catherine’s Hill. We will follow a different route back stopping half way for coffee and cake at the Handlebar Cafe.

This walk is relatively easy with no hills, will be taken at a steady pace and is suitable for people of a moderate fitness level.

We will meet in front of the Cathedral at 10:00 for a 10:15 start.

Guests, Prospective New Members and Well Behaved Dogs are welcome.

This is a chargeable event for non paid up members, a fee of £2:00 is payable on the day.
