Blow the cobwebs away - Southbourne Beach & Hengitsbury Head Circular.

Join me on this end of year 7 mile circular walk (this will be our last walk before our Winter Sun adventure) much of it along the coast, with great views out to sea, the Isle of Wight, Poole Bay and beyond.
There is some Beach (pebble) walking but the majority of the walk is on good solid footpaths.
I would consider this an easy/moderate walk and suitable for anyone of a reasonable fitness level. There is one notable incline, up and over Hengitsbury Head (This is optional - an alternative flat route is available).
Please consider the weather conditions and wear appropriate clothing and footwear.
I would suggest car sharing and parking in Warren Edge Car Park, BH6 4BE
Winter Parking Charges apply: £5:00 for 24 hours.
We will meet in front of Sobo Beach on the Promenade at 10:15 for a 10:30 start.

This is a chargeable event, a fee of £2.00 is payable on the day by non paid up members.
