Jane Austen Country - Overton, Steventon and Ashe

Join me on this circular walk of approx 8 miles - the walk takes us from Overton, through Deane and Steventon, (where Jane Austen was born and lived for the first 25 years of her life) and back through Ashe Park, passing the source of the River Test.
The highlights include historic sites, beautiful scenery, great views abundant wild life and spring flowers.
I would consider this walk suitable for all with reasonable fitness level. We will take a short drink/snack break on route.
Please consider the weather conditions and wear the appropriate clothing and footwear.

This is a chargeable event, a fee of £2:00 will be payable on the day by non paid up members.

We will meet in the car park (free) on Overton Hill, RG25 3NU at 09:45 for a 10:00 start.
