Winchester to Winchester Circular

I have put this walk of approx 7.5 miles together for both new and our regular walkers, I would describe it as moderate, there is one notable incline. The terrain is a mix of tracks and waterside trails. It is suitable for people with a reasonable fitness level who are capable of walking in excess of 2.5 miles per hour.

We will meet at 10:15 for a 10:30 start in Winchester Abbey Gardens.

The walk will follow this route : Winchester - Shawford - Compton - Olivers Battery - Badger Farm - St Cross - Winchester.

Please consider the weather conditions leading up to the walk and wear appropriate clothing and footwear.

Guests and prospective new members and well behaved dogs welcome.

This is a chargeable event, a fee of £2:00 will be payable on the day by non paid up members.
