Winchester to Avington Circular Walk

Join me on this circular walk of approx 11 miles, taking us from the City of Winchester over Magdalen Hill Down, across farmlands through Avington and Itchen Abbas, along the River Itchen and back to the City.
There are a few slight inclines, I consider this a walk of moderate difficulty, pace will be between 2.5 & 3.0 miles per hour, it’s suitable for people with a good level of fitness.
A snack and drink stop will be taken half way.
Please consider the weather conditions and wear appropriate clothing and footwear.

Meet in Hillier Way Car Park (Parking is free) at 09:45 for a 10:00 start.
This is a chargeable event, a fee of £2.00 is payable on the day for non paid up members. Please do not pay through the Meet Up App as we do not receive the money.
