An evening of original jazz and modern interpretations of post-1960s pop songs from Brian Wilson, Jim Webb, Burt Bacharach and more.

Lawrie Wright plays with jazz line-ups around Reading and East Berkshire, afro-fusion band Limpopo Groove, and with singer/songwriter Steve Morano. He also teaches both guitar and piano. His latest release "Two For Joy" is a melodic and accessible album of instrumentals, with hints of English pastoral folk music, French Impressionism, Brazilian samba and American gospel.

Windsor Jazz Club is a monthly jazz club night, every third Sunday, in the relaxing and atmospheric Hope live music bar on Alma Road in Windsor. The club brings new artists to the town, playing a mixture of well-loved jazz standards and original compositions. The evening starts at 8pm (doors at 7:30) and presents an hour and a half of live music with an interval halfway. The music finishes around 10pm and the venue is open until 11pm for socialising. Come along to meet other lovers of live music, jazz followers, aficionados and musicians. The bar is well stocked with a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, soft drinks, juices, hot drinks and snacks. We look forward to meeting you.
