Windsor Jazz Club is a monthly jazz club night, every third Sunday, in the relaxing and atmospheric Hope live music bar on Alma Road in Windsor. The club brings new artists to the town, playing a mixture of well-loved jazz standards and original compositions. The evening starts at 8pm (doors at 7:30) and presents an hour and a half of live music with an interval halfway. The music finishes around 10pm and the venue is open until 11pm for socialising. Come along to meet other lovers of live music, jazz followers, aficionados and musicians. The bar is well stocked with a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, soft drinks, juices, hot drinks and snacks. We look forward to meeting you.

Ben Twyford DrumsMartin Pickett is a regular on the Oxford jazz scene and pianist to acclaimed soloists including Art Themen and Alan Barnes. Bringing his own trio to Windsor for an evening of specially arranged jazz standards and original compositions.
As well as being a freelance jazz pianist and teacher, Pickett currently co-leads 'Time Is Of The Essence' organ quartet, also playing with organ trio 'Hummus Crisis'. His own 'Once Only Orchestra' showcases his compositions for big band.
Pickett has recently been recording with guitarist Kevin M Armstrong, also reviving the jazz suites of Stan Tracey with MGMusic, and is soon to play alongside Ronnie Scott's artist Deirdre Cartwright.
