Inspired by the German word Stammtisch, meaning “regular’s table”, this isn’t just a meetup; it’s a tradition.
This week we focus on American Sign Language. If you ever wanted to learn or practice you sign language, this is the night. This is a causal event focused on people meeting, all language levels welcome.
Every Thursday, people gather to mingle, share stories, and effortlessly switch between languages while enjoying a lively and welcoming atmosphere.
Which languages are available?
French, English, Spanish, Esperanto and American Sign Language.
Looking for Korean, Chinese, Italian, Indonesian, Arabic speakers.
Let me know which languages you're interested in and I can try to have someone there who speaks it.
Do I need to be fluent?
Absolutely not! Whether you're fluent, improving, or just starting out, you're welcome. Just show up, immerse yourself, and enjoy the conversation.
### Support Local!
Stamtish thrives because of the space that hosts us, so while you’re here, grab a drink or something to eat and support local businesses that make gatherings like this possible.
