Sunday Morning Meditation & Well-being Ceremony at Finley Center

Dear Meetup members,

This Sunday you are cordially invited to join me and the Windsor Zen Group for our Sunday practice at Finley Community Center in Santa Rosa. The morning will include sitting & walking meditation followed by our Well-being Ceremony. Please make your best effort to join us in person if you live nearby or on Zoom if you're at a distance (see Zoom link below).

We meet in Room 25 on the second floor of the Person Senior Wing which is located on the south side of the center, adjacent to the park. It's easiest to drive to the left past the tennis courts and park in the rear parking lot. Please RSVP if you plan to do the meditation instruction.

You are invited to send me the name(s) of anyone who may need our support for any life challenges they are facing. I will need names by 7 p.m. (PT) Saturday. You don't need to be present at the ceremony to submit someone's name.

The Well-being Ceremony will be a formal service with three prostrations at the beginning and end. After prostrations, we'll chant the ***Enmei Jukku Kannon Gyo ***seven times in Japanese and three times in English. The chant will be posted in the Zoom chat for those attending virtually.
Sunday's Schedule
9:30 - meet for setup at Finley Center
9:40 - meditation instruction - hybrid
10:10 - sitting meditation (Zazen) (30 mins.)
10:40 - walking medtation (Kinhin)
10:50 - well-being ceremony
11:05 - zazen (15 mins.)
11:20 - close & goodbye
