Tour homes are chosen to present a cross-section of the different types of housing in Pullman and the many ways that homeowners blend the past and present in their historic homes. Come visit Pullman and see behind the beautiful facades into the interiors of these landmark homes.

House Tour Weekend also will include tours of the Pullman National Monument, music at the bandstand, food, an antique car show, garage sales and so much more! As time permits, we can walk over to Pullman Porter Museum. There's One Eleven Food Hall for more food options with BBQ restaurant, Culvers & Potbelly about 3 blocks away.

Since 1973, the Historic Pullman Foundation and the Pullman Civic Organization have co-sponsored the annual Pullman House Tour making this one of Chicago's oldest continuing tour of homes. Owners of Pullman's landmark houses maintain the historic details on the exterior. The private side of Pullman residences which will be opened to the public for this tour reflect the style and taste of our modern residents including beautifully restored interiors as well as tasteful modern renovations

The Pullman Historic District is a unique community, built in 1880-84 as a planned model industrial town for the Pullman's Palace Car Company. We have done their open house in the past and the area is very interesting with a rich storied history

The Town of Pullman was called the World's Most Perfect Town in 1896; it was designated a City of Chicago, State of Illinois and a National Landmark District in the early 1970's; Pullman was recognized by the American Planning Association as one of America's Great

Neighborhoods in 2011; and in 2015 Pullman was designated a National Monument, Chicago's only National Park.
