40th Annual Belmont-Sheffield Music Fest w/Giovina working Beer Tent

Start planning your Saturday festival fun! Located on Sheffield from Belmont to Roscoe St., this festival is the perfect place to kick-off summer! Expect to have a blast at this popular 40th annual street happening on Sheffield Avenue in the heart of the Lakeview neighborhood (and just steps from the Belmont El station)! This is a great festival! We will catch Rosie & the Rivets or Dancing Queen, as both are playing this festival! If you cannot come at 5:30 pm, then meet the group later about 7 pm near the Trader Todd's Beer tent!

I, Giovina, your group organizer, WILL BE WORKING THE TRADER TODD'S BEER TENT FOR A FEW HOURS WITH THE CHICAGO FOR CHICAGOANS GUIDES TO HELP FUNDRAISE FOR PATTI'S NON-PROFIT TOUR AGENCY! WE ARE WORKING FROM 3-7 or so. WHEN I GET OFF, I WILL JOIN THE GROUP AT THE MUSIC STAGE ABOUT 7:10 pm. FIRST, COME STOP BY MY BOOZE TENT, TO BUY A BEER & SUPPORT A GOOD CAUSE!

Admission is free with a $10 suggested donation, which you are not obligated to pay or can even give a lesser amount.

MEET INSIDE THE FEST BY THE TRADER TODD'S BEER TENT (CLOSER TO THE BELMONT STAGE), SINCE I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MEET AT THE ENTRANCE. CHECK IN WITH ME BY THE BEER TENT NEAR THE BELMONT & SHEFFIELD ENTRANCE. I WILL MEET EVERYONE AFTER MY SHIFT AT 7 PM

Belmont-Sheffield Music Fest is one of the first of scores of Windy City warm weather fests. Top local tribute bands on the main stage (near Roscoe), great eats, libations (beer and wine), artisans and a groovin’ second stage featuring local artists and entertainment are on tap for this iconic 40th annual happening. The fest’s second (aka ‘community’) stage, located on Sheffield at Belmont, will showcase an eclectic entertainment mix that includes deejay sets, cover bands, and other nifty local acts and performances.

I am torn between 2 bands performing at the same time! Dancing Queen an ABBA Tribute band on the main stage at 8:30 and Rosie & the Rivets on the Belmont Stage at 8:15 pm so I imagine some of the group will split and go see one band while the rest see the other. I may even go back & forth!

If you drive, there is metered parking on Sheffield and Belmont further away from the festival. Limited side street parking. This area might tough to park due to the music fest, so Best to use SpotHero or Parking Whiz for your safest bet and cheapest option!

1. 3 no-shows without updating your rsvp, and you will not be able to sign up for future events for 3 months
2. The cut-off time to update your rsvp is the start time of the event. If you miss the start time, then message the event host directly
3. not checking in with the event host to notify them you have arrived (for walks, tours or festivals type of events)
4. continual no-shows will result in removal from the group!
