Millennium Park Summer Outdoor workouts are back! Carol will be your host for this event. She is not sure yet if she will do this every Saturday as she has done previously, so check back for weekly updates. Right now, this Saturday is a go! Bring water and your mat. Sunscreen and have fun!
Enjoy the first free yoga class of the season, held every Saturday. This Saturday, it starts at 9 am, but meet at 8:45 am. You need a mat and a water bottle. Pilates is before yoga; however, Carol will not be there for that class. Cancel only if it’s raining. This will be most Saturdays throughout the summer, and Carol will be your host.
This is a joint event with several other meetup groups, so it is multi-group event!
Come join your event host, Carol in Millennium Park behind Harris Théâtre. Enter either on Michigan, on Washington, or Madison.
CAROL WILL BE IN THE FRONT ROW. BRING YOUR OWN yoga mat and water, & sunscreen.
Everyone will be on the Great Lawn In the front part of the lawn area facing the stage Jay Pritzker Pavilion. Carol will let you know what she is wearing so you can locate her. If you want to come early for Pilates or stay after for Zumba, feel free to do so
- 8–8:45am Pilates
- 9–9:45am Yoga (GROUP WILL BE DOING THIS CLASS ON 5/17/25)
- 10–10:45am Cardio Kickboxing
- 11–11:45am Zumba
PLEASE MAKE SURE TO CHECK IN WITH CAROL BEFORE THE START SO SHE KNOWS THAT YOU HAVE ARRIVED! SHE WILL POST HER LOCATION AND WHAT SHE IS WEARING. SHE HAS A PURPLE YOGA MAT
Summer Workout Series! Millennium Park Summer Workouts will return in person on the Great Lawn, featuring Cardio Kickboxing, Yoga, Pilates, and Zumba.
Kickstart your weekend with a FREE morning workout on Millennium Park's Great Lawn. Each workout is about 45 minutes, with classes beginning on the hour, every hour.
Millennium Park provides a unique outdoor studio where Chicagoans and visitors alike can be energized in the form of Summer Workouts. Every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, guests can enjoy free 45-minute classes on the Great Lawn including yoga, strength training, Pilates, and Zumba®. Sessions are accompanied by live music or local DJs playing the latest tracks. Support for these workouts is provided by McDonald’s Active Lifestyles Endowment, managed by the Millennium Park Foundation.

Carol can only stay for the yoga portion, but if you want to stay before or after to join the other exercises like Pilates or Zumba, you are welcome to do so! Dress comfortably for exercise and appropriately for the outdoor weather!
PLEASE NOTE OUR CURRENT NO-SHOW POLICY:
- 3 no-shows without updating your rsvp and you will not be able to sign up for future events for 3 months
- Cut-off time to update your rsvp is the start time of the event. If you miss the start time, then message the event host directly
- not checking in with the event host to notify them you have arrived (for walks, tours, or festival-type events)
- Continual no-shows will result in removal from the group!
