We’ve done this event many times — and it’s always a hit. No two shows are ever the same!

This Much Is True (TMIT) is now in its 17th year, so let’s celebrate with unforgettable stories, good food, and even better company. From the same team behind Story Lab, TMIT features a brand-new lineup every month, sharing true personal stories that are hilarious, heartfelt, and deeply human.

🕔 5:00 PM – Restaurant/pub opens
🍽️ 5:45 PM – Meet downstairs for dinner & drinks (this is when we arrive)
🎤 7:00 PM – Head upstairs to grab seats
🎭 7:30 PM – Storytelling begins
👉 Not doing dinner? Just meet the group upstairs at 7:00 PM.

• Cash strongly preferred for groups
• No separate checks
• Please total your order and add 32% (12% Chicago tax + 20% tip)
• Sometimes they may allow separate checks, but bring cash just in case — it keeps the night smooth for everyone

• 3 no-shows without updating RSVP = 3-month event freeze
• RSVP cut-off = event start time
• If running late, message the host directly
