One of Chicago's favorite summer traditions is back!

Join us for Tuesdays on the Terrace at the Museum of Contemporary Art, where you'll enjoy FREE live jazz in the beautiful Anne & John Kern Terrace Garden plus FREE museum admission for Illinois residents after 5 PM.

We've attended many times over the years, and it's always a fantastic evening of music, art, and good company.

Bring a blanket or lawn chair, relax under the skyline, and enjoy one of the city's best free summer concerts.

Tables fill quickly, so we recommend arriving early.

## 🎀 Featured Artist: AKENYA

Chicago native AKENYA is an award-winning vocalist, pianist, composer, and producer whose music blends jazz, soul, hip-hop, pop, classical, and world music into a sound all her own.

A graduate of the prestigious New England Conservatory Jazz Studies Program, she has collaborated with Chance the Rapper, Noname, Mavis Staples, Esperanza Spalding, Dave Holland, Vijay Iyer, and Hayley Williams, earning a Grammy nomination and a 2022 3Arts Award.

Praised by the Chicago Tribune as a "multi-faceted genius," AKENYA continues to captivate audiences worldwide with her powerful voice, virtuosic piano playing, and deeply personal songwriting.

Founded in 1967, the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago is one of the world's largest museums devoted exclusively to contemporary art. The museum features rotating exhibitions by today's most innovative artists and houses a permanent collection of more than 2,000 works.
The galleries remain open until 9:00 PM, making it easy to explore the exhibitions before the concert, during intermission, or afterward.
