Let’s explore the International Museum of Surgical Science by candlelight — a lakefront mansion filled with history, elegant architecture, and medical curiosities! 🏛️ This special after-hours experience adds a spooky Halloween twist to an evening inside the historic Eleanor Countiss House.

Join me Thursday, October 15, 2026, from 6–8 PM for a candlelit tour followed by a complimentary reception with light fare. 🕯️🍴

🏛️ Historic Home Snapshot

• Built in 1917 as the private residence of Eleanor Countiss
• Eleanor lived in the home until her passing in 1931
• Today, the mansion houses the International Museum of Surgical Science
• This special evening offers a different perspective on the home’s architecture, former residents, and medical collections
