Welcome to Windy City Fun! We’re a friendly group of women ages 40 and up who want to meet new friends and enjoy the great things to do in Chicago. If you're looking to make new friends, find women to share activities you love, introduce us to new ones or discover new things with us, this is for you. We're open to all kinds of activities -- dinner, brunch, movies, book club, wine tasting, game nights, hiking, art festivals, fitness, day trips, lakefront walks and more.
*Yes, this IS the relaunch of Windy City Women 40s and Up! We were 500 members strong in March 2020. We shut down due to COVID and while we were away, another group took on our name. We're thrilled to be back and happy to welcome all members returning and new.
We do require your first name, along with a photo of you on your Meetup profile so we can easily find you when we're getting together. (For those with concerns, this is a private group, and it is possible to have a unique photo for each of your different Meetup groups.) And sorry, but no soliciting allowed.

BE SAFE
- We happily follow all COVID protocols in regards to masking and proof of vaccination.
BE COURTEOUS
Our group typically has small meetups and that usually means 6 to 12 people at each event so we really get to know each other. It also makes being an organizer tough when people are no-shows.
- If you no-show for an event, you will be removed from the group.
- If you show a pattern of cancellations less than 24 hours before an event, you will be removed from the group.
BE KIND
We're all in this together to create a welcoming environment. Let's treat everyone with respect. Healthy debates are natural, but kindness and goodwill are required. Violating this rule will get you banned from the group without prior warning.
We encourage all members to plan and host events. If you're interested, just ask!
