Family Outing @ Feed My Starving Children
Join us for a fun Family Outing to Volunteer Together and pack meals for hungry children at Feed My Starving Children 740 Wiley Farm Road, Schaumburg, IL 60173.
We reserved 20 spots for Saturday Apr 11 from 845am-11:00am packing session. If you can go please RSVP (+guest) so we can update our guest list accordingly. We will close RSVP one week prior to event so we can release any unused spots to FMSC for other groups/individuals can go too.
Please read all the attached FMSC Guidelines listed below prior to committing to joining us with your RSVP.

#### FMSC Guidelines
### FMSC Code Of Conduct Statement
At Feed My Starving Children (FMSC), we feed kids, feed spirits and empower communities. FMSC is committed to providing a healthy and respectful environment for everyone who is involved with our organization. FMSC employees, volunteers and other individuals entering facilities where FMSC meals are packed are expected to treat others with respect and dignity. This Code of Conduct applies to any setting or communication associated with Feed My Starving Children, including but not limited to the packing site and packing activities, phone calls, video conferences, emails, conversations and social media. Please follow this student-to-adult ratio when registering to volunteer:
- For safety reasons, children under the age of 5 are not allowed in our packing area (sorry, no exceptions)
- Grades K-2: 1 student to 1 adult*
- Grades 3-6: 3 students to 1 adult
- Grades 7-12: 4 students to 1 adult
We recommend that groups of youth be third grade or older.
Please Note: Everyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult (an adult is someone 18 years of age or older).
High School groups - At least half of the required chaperones must be non-student adults (teachers, advisors or parents). If needed, a few 18-year-olds will be allowed to fill in as chaperones.
FMSC staff members reserve the right to amend volunteer scheduling.
### Jewelry Policy
To comply with FDA requirements and remove all opportunity for foreign objects to fall into our life-saving meals (which could cause choking, tooth breakage and more), FMSC volunteers must remove all jewelry and/or accessories before packing.

### Illness Policy
To ensure the safety of our volunteers, staff and the food we pack, please do not come to volunteer if you have any new or unexplained symptoms indicative of contagious illness or food-borne diseases. Click here for a list of symptoms

WINDY CITY DADS is always looking for members who would be interested in organizing meetups in your neck of the woods and helping us keep this group an active community... be it a Dads Night Out or Playgroup activity with the kids and/or Family Outing to grab a pizza, see a movie, go to zoo, etc. If interested, please contact Brian Dykes via meetup messenger or Brian@WindyCityDads.com
