• Thursday, August 14, 7:30 pm night skate, Chicago Flag, 12 miles
• Friday, August 15, 7:30 pm night skate, Pope Leo XIV, 12 miles
• Saturday, August 16 10:00 am day skate, North Side, 20 miles, with lunch break
• Sunday, August 17 9:30 am morning skate, Sunday Funday, 13 miles

SAME GUIDELINES AS WINDY CITY SKATER ROAD RAVES:
Please sign the waiver ahead of time so we can begin skating promptly.
Friday nights are a lot more exciting on skates! Get to know the city the way you have never seen it before, meet awesome people and exercise at the same time.
Route: 12 to 14 Miles through the city. Duration approximately 2.5 hours. Every skate has a different theme that will be announced prior to the event.
What to bring:
Signed Waiver. We have switched to online waivers, no more paper waivers. Please sign your waiver ahead of time online.
Helmet Required. Wrist guards and other pads are also recommended.
Water (we usually make a water stop but not always).
Snacks (Energy bar or something small) You will probably have to refuel at some point during a 2 hours skate.
Blinky lights if you have them.
Required skill level:
Know how to brake. We stop at red lights.
We skate in a bike lane or one lane of traffic. We don’t block cars.
Comfortable skating in traffic (we skate on the streets)
Ability to keep a decent pace (you don't have to be super fast but somewhat able to keep up)
Ability to skate around and over potholes, sand, rocks, sticks, curbs, railroad tracks, stairs, puddles, etc.
Comfortable going up and down hills (there aren't that many in Chicago)
What else:
This event is organized by Windy City Skaters. This is a recreational fun social group skate. It is not a race. We will stay together as a group.
You skate at your own risk. Skaters will have to sign a Waiver and wear a Helmet to attend.
We will end at Daley Plaza (Same place we started).
