The Wild Turk, aka Kenan, pulled some magic ju-ju out of his bag of tricks and got us this venue. It was a rather big challenge to find an Irish place with room for our peeps...but the Turk has squared us away. While Katie Downs doesn't have Irish food (that I know of - they may have green beer), they do have an Irish flag flying out front and will have a bag-piper playing on the roof.

We were only able to get 50 seats (yesterday they were saying 20 - until the Turk sweet talked them), I know there are 57 signed up. So for the 7 extra show up anyways. This is going to be a very rare statement coming from me, dealing with MUs. Those on the waitlist, show up anyways, if you like. I can't promise a seat near us, or even a seat, but be bold and show up. Not sure if they will open the outside deck or not...but they do have heaters.

Perhaps the biggest Irish celebration in town is at Doyle's, but it is a tiny place. Even though they put up a beer tent to handle the crowds, I didn't think we could all fit in and get a table...so, we are going to Katie Downs; that said, we can migrate there after Katie and partake in their Irish Eggs (also called Scotch Eggs)

Trivia pursuit question, worth one drink: Everyone knows where the largest St Patty's day celebration in the nation is located...but where is the second largest! First to post a correct response, gets a drink (not water - but if you want water, that can be arranged as well)
