Winemaker Tasting Series - Wooden Valley Winery at the WineShoppe

UPDATE: Ron Lanza with Wooden Valley Winery will be pouring the 2023 Wooden Valley Chardonnay, the 2023 Wooden Valley Rosetta, the 2022 Lanza Sangiovese, the 2022 Lanza Barbera, the 2022 Wooden Valley Merlot and the 2022 Wooden Valley Exit Forty One red blend......one tasty wine after another. This afternoon, we'll join South Bay's Passion for Wine at the WineShoppe in Torrance as third generation Ron Lanza from Wooden Family Winery will be pouring a great selection of wines. The WineShoppe in Torrance is a boutique shop specializing in unique and hard to find wines from around the world. During the summer months every Saturday afternoon, the WineShoppe hosts the Winemaker Series hosting a different winery every week.

For three generations, family-owned Wooden Valley Winery has been producing award-winning wines from the Suisun Valley appellation, a pristine winegrowing region nestled between two coastal mountain ranges southeast of Napa Valley. Third generation family members continue traditions set in place applying years of experience to farming the surrounding vineyards and crafting exceptional red, white and sweet wines. In addition to the estate varietals, the winery is especially proud to offer select wines under the Lanza family name. Their award winning varietals include Sauvignon Blanc, White Cuvee, Chardonnay, Rose, Riesling, Sparkling Wines, Sangiovese, Barbera, Mourvedre, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, exciting Red Blends & Port Wine. There will be 6 varietals poured this afternoon. The posting will be updated once the wines to be poured is finalized. There will be no food provided, so you are able to bring snacks to the tasting. You will not be disappointed at this wine tasting.

I am a wine club member, so please let the WineShoppe know that you are with the group for the wine club member fee of $15 each for the wine tasting (reg. $20).

Be sure to check out the selection of wines at the WineShoppe to purchase a bottle or two for your upcoming summer activities, including the 6 for $66 ($11/bottle - some great choices of wines there as well).

There is plenty of free parking. The wine tasting ends at 5 PM. There are many restaurants & theatres nearby to continue your evening. Look forward to seeing you there.
