Veuve Clicquot & Burgers at Lincoln Fine Wines - An Evening of Champagnes

UPDATE: The Veuve Clicquot champagnes to be poured are the following: NV Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin Yellow Label, 2015 Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin Vintage, 2015 Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin La Grande Dame Brut, NV Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin Rosé, NV Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin Rich and the NV Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin Rich Rosé accompanied with yummy gourmet burgers from Zinqué, a beloved local favorite. This evening, we will be at Lincoln Fine Wines in Venice for their popular Wednesday Night Wine Tastings. Lincoln Fine Wines is one of Venice's premium wine shop offerings "Cellar Wines at Basement Prices." With their huge variety of bottles ranging from $5 to $5000, one will find the right wine for every budget and occasion. The wine shop stocks Champagnes and top shelf liquors. The wine shop features include a temperature-controlled cellar room, knowledgeable and helpful staff, on-site parking, and local & nationwide delivery service.

Representatives from Veuve Clicquot will be at Lincoln Fines Wines this evening to pour an exquisite number of champagnes - perfect for the holiday season. Veuve Clicquot is a Champagne house founded in 1772 based in Reims. Madame Clicquot is credited with major breakthroughs, creating the first known vintage champagne in 1810, and inventing the riddling table process to clarify champagne in 1816. In 1818, she invented the first known blended rosé champagne by blending still red and white wines a process still used by the majority of champagne producers.

5 - 6 champagnes will be poured this evening. An update will be posted once the list of champagnes is finalized. In addition, accompanying the champagnes, burgers will be served with all the condiments - a perfect pairing along with cheeses & crackers. Also, these champagnes will be available for purchase at a discount.

There is free street parking (check for restrictions) and at the parking lot at Just for Tires across from Lincoln Fine Wines. The wine tasting ends at about 7:30 PM.
