We’ll be at the 43rd LMU Arthur P. Carroll Jr. Wine Classic at Loyola Marymount University in Westchester with the South Bay's Passion for Wine. This wine classic is one of the best wine events I have been to. I have been attending this event for the last 12 years. It gets better every year! We always have a great attendance at this event by both wine tasting groups. The LMU Arthur P. Carroll Jr. Wine Classic has earned a reputation among California vintners as the best wine-tasting event in the state.
This Wine Classic is one of the few events where we will have the opportunity to meet the owner or vintner of every participating winery. Over 40 of the best boutique wineries in California have been selected (there are winemakers on the waiting list to participate in this event) with more than 150 wines available for tasting. Winemakers and vintners will be onsite to share their knowledge and experience.
Among the wineries to participate as of November 25, 2024 are Arns Winery, Barnett Vineyards, Battuello Vineyard, Brutocao Cellars, Canihan Family Winery, Coquerel Family Wine Estates, Costa de Oro Winery, Delicato Family Wines, Encanto Vineyards, Epps Estate Vineyards, Falkner Winery, Foxen Vineyard & Winery, Gamba Vineyards and Winery, The Hilt, Katali Wines, Krupp Brothers Winery & Estate, La Cienega Vineyard, Labyrinth Winery, Lewelling Vineyards, LMU Wine Collective, MTGA Wines, Navarro Vineyards, O’Shaughnessy Estate Winery, Progeny Winery, Red Cap Vineyards, Saddleback Cellars, TATE Wine, Tensley Wines, Trujillo Wines, and ZD Wines. More wineries to be added.
There will be an extensive buffet of hot & cold appetizers and desserts to complement the wines as well as a coffee & tea station. Also, there will be a silent auction of specialty wines, wine country packages and products. Proceeds Benefit LMU Student Scholarships.
The temperature inside the University Hall should be comfortable but bring a sweater or jacket just in case.
Tickets are $125 until 1/4/26 (holiday pricing), then $145 from 1/5 – 1/23 2026 and $165 from 1/24 – 1/28 2026. The ticket includes entry into the Wine Classic, a souvenir wine glass and delicious food that pairs with your wine. When purchasing your ticket, go to Primary Registrant Information - 43rd LMU Arthur P. Carroll Jr. Wine Classic
I will provide my cell number to those who RSVP as “Going” the day before (1/31). Hope you can join us at this exclusive wine tasting event. There will be attendants to direct us to free parking. The festival ends at about 5 PM.
