ON YOUR OWN! Italian American Festival! Music, Food and Fireworks!

Yahoooo! We have done this event in the Past and its been a Blast! I am happy to schedule this year, as the group did not schedule last year!

Event takes place at Lock 3 in Akron and Main St. Enjoy Italian Food, Music and Fireworks. Options include traditional Italian fare, Italian baked goods, food trucks offering a variety of cuisine and beer trucks.

The closest parking deck is the State Street Deck located at 51 W. State St. Other nearby parking decks also include:

• Summit County Deck (200 S. High St.)
• Cascade Deck (10 W. Mill St.)
• CitiCenter Deck (132 S. High St.)

There are also plenty of metered parking spaces available downtown, and they are free after 6 p.m. on weekdays and all day on weekends. (Restrictions on handicapped-accessible parking spaces still apply.) Many downtown parking meters have pay stations that accept credit cards, bills and coins, and all city decks accept credit card payments.

The city has HANDICAP PARKING in the State Street deck and the Cascade Plaza deck. For State street take the elevator to M for Main St and B for basement and direct access to Lock 3. Cascade Parking exit south end of deck into Lock 4 and proceed to Lock 3.
