Wine Walk-About in San Juan Capistrano (Take 2!)

Our San Juan Capistrano Walk-About is back on for Saturday, May 13th! We’ll start with one of my favorite wine bars in O.C.—Five Vines Wine Bar. I’m liking their extensive wine list which offers a wide selection of domestic and international wines. But, the best part is you get to choose the tasting size (starting at 2 oz.) which makes this one of the most reasonably priced wine tasting bars, yet their wines are fantastic. And their wines are matched only by their delicious foods.

Reservations for their cozy wine lounge (which fits 15 people) are from 3p – 5p.

After 5p, we’ll head over to Rooftop Restaurant and bar for wine, appetizers and music. All who Accept are welcome to join us from this point on.

Next, we’re on to Tannins Restaurant and Wine Bar for dinner (~7p). Again, all who Accept are welcome to join us. Tannins is a local favorite for good reasons. It offers a good wine selection, good food and prices are reasonable.

So come join us at 1 or at all 3. Just a reminder, that our lounge at Five Vines can only accommodate 15 people. More are welcome to join us at Rooftop Restaurant and Tannins.

This next part, unfortunately, has to be said. It appears to be a common Meetup practice to Accept an event and then not show up without first changing the reservation to Decline. We understand that sometimes life happens, but this pattern appears to be a habit for some. Our goal with this group is to offer fun, interesting events at amazing venues. Coordinating space with a venue typically requires a headcount commitment. We cannot commit if members are not responsible with their reservations. If you accept an event, but know in advance you are unable to attend, we ask that you cancel your reservation out of consideration to others. To ensure this does not continue to be a trend, from this point onward, any members who are no shows without advance notice, will be dropped from this group—no exceptions!
