Michelin-starred restaurant at Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong
takes over Shang Palace in Abu Dhabi for a weekend

Coming all the way from the Michelin-starred Shang Palace at Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong to Shangri-La Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi, Chef Liu Wai-Yeung will take over the capital’s Shang Palace for a three-night pop-up event and elevate the restaurant’s Cantonese cuisine with an exclusive set menu from 21 to 23 November 2019.

Renowned for its Cantonese cuisine, Shang Palace at Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong delivers traditional and creative dishes that evoke the grandeur of traditional China. The Hong Kong restaurant currently holds one Michelin star and was awarded as a Michelin two-starred restaurant in the editions of the Michelin Guide for Hong Kong and Macau from 2012 to 2018.

Joining hands with the Chinese chefs at Shang Palace in Abu Dhabi, the team has prepared an exclusive dinner set menu to celebrate Cantonese cuisine with the guests of the award-winning Chinese restaurant. The eight-course dinner set menu includes Cantonese favourites, such as Deep-Fried Stuffed Crab Shell, Wok-Fried Cod Fillet with Red Bean Curd Sauce and Sautéed Wagyu Beef diced with Asparagus and Mushroom.

Starting from AED248, the exclusive eight-course dinner menu will be available from 21 to 23 November 2019 at 7 p.m.
The restaurant will also offer a celebratory lunch menu from noon to 3 p.m.
