The Next Meetup is March 10th at the Metropolitan Museum of Art

Hi Everyone,I just set the date and the place for the first Good Wine! Good Conversation! Meetup date of 2018. Apologies for taking so long to set this up but better late than never :).

This first one of this year will be on Saturday night, March 10th, at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. It is not what we usually do when we meet at a bar/ restaurant..but I have combined it with my Museum Meet up Group. We will spend 2 hours at the MET and then after wards (at 8:30pm) together figure out a place in the neighborhood to go eat and drink.

The Met Museum is a pay what you wish entrance fee policy If you are a New York City resident. If not, it is $25 to attend. We will meet at 6:30pm inside the main entrance, just to the right of the information booth in front of the coat check. We will stroll a few of the most current exhibits together as a group (no formal tour) and then regroup at 8:30pm at the same place we met originally near the entrance. At that point, anyone who wants to join will go with us, as a group, to a local restaurant/ bar/pub to have some food, drinks, and hang out with our newly made friends for some good conversation and laughter. I do not have a place set but have a lot of ideas of good places in the area. It depends on how many people want to go. I have set a limit (for now) of 50people for this first event. PLEASE ONLY SIGN UP if you intend to go. This is going to be very popular and fill up quickly. There will be a waiting list above 100 people in the event people cancel (which some do as they find conflicts in their schedules). PS. If you want to bring a guest, no problem. Please have them join the group and sign up for the event. Thanks so much. It is easier to track the numbers of reservations in that way.
