Hi, I’m Carla.

I originally created Wine, Dine & Have a Good Time while living in Dublin, and later continued it in Barcelona. As an expat, I experienced first hand how challenging—and rewarding—it can be to meet new people, build friendships, create a network, and feel at home in a new place.

Originally from Portugal I realized that even in your own country, building new connections doesn’t always happen naturally.

That’s why I’m bringing this group back to life.

The idea is simple: bring together friendly, open-minded people who enjoy good conversation, good company, and shared experiences.

Activities may include:

While many members may be in their 40s and 50s, everyone is welcome.

This isn’t a dating group—it’s a social community where friendships, professional connections, and new opportunities can naturally grow. And because this is an in-person social community, members are expected to use a recognizable name and profile photo.
