Our 1st Meetup at L&J Cafe and fundraiser luncheon

Howdy, all! Yes, it's true. Our group has never had a meetup at L & J's, and it's about time we did. We were able to get a 1 p.m. reservation for up to 20 people, but here's the catch...we only have a 10 minute window to wait for all of us to be there before they seat us or they will start giving our seats away and we have to wait for any other tables to become available. That being said, we definitely have to be there a few minutes before 1 p.m. if you can make it. This is going to be a fundraising luncheon for our next full year subscription to Meetup which goes from February 16, 2026 to February 16, 2027. Our bill for the upcoming year is $299.00 plus tax and we're hoping to get as much as we can via donations from you, our members, and of course myself to cover it. If you can come out and join us and donate a few dollars towards our subscription, it'd be wonderful to see you. Frances and I were texting earlier about how much this group has been able to bring old friends closer together and start new friendships altogether and I couldn't be happier for all of us.
