**UPDATED MEETUP LOCATION NOW AT KIKI'S FOR a fundraiser luncheon

***1/18/26 UPDATE***Howdy, all! WE ARE HAVING TO MOVE OUR LUNCHEON LOCATION TO KIKI'S restaurant on Piedras. We were able to get a 1 p.m. reservation for up to 20 people, but if a few more show up, we'll find a way to make it work. L & J's called me just a bit ago to tell me that they are closed tomorrow for maintenance so we've moved our lunch to 2719 N. Piedras. This is going to be a fundraising luncheon for our next full year subscription to Meetup which goes from February 16, 2026 to February 16, 2027. The fee for the upcoming year is $299.00 plus tax. We're hoping to get as much as we can via donations from you, our members, and of course myself to cover it. If you can come out and join us and donate a few dollars towards our subscription, it'd be wonderful to see you. Please, if you have the phone number of other members who are scheduled to come, please call or text them to let them know about the location being changed to Kiki's. I have also removed the cap of only 20 guests allowed, so if anyone would like to join us, they're more than welcome. Frances and I were texting earlier about how much this group has been able to bring old friends closer together and start new friendships altogether and I couldn't be happier for all of us.
