What we’re about

Wine, Dine & Words is a community for professional women in their 40s and 50s, many of us moms who want to fall back in love with reading without limits. We will explore all genres from the latest best sellers, career and business books, and self-development, to fiction, memoirs, thrillers, romance, and everything in between. The goal is to have that extra push to read outside of comfort zones and actually finish a read through accountability!
I’m starting this group because I once belonged to a book club many years ago, where I met incredible women where many are still my friends today. Our interests and priorities have naturally evolved as life has shifted. Now, I’m craving connection with women who are in a similar season of life: professionals balancing family, careers, friendship, growth, and fun… especially women of color who enjoy social connection, community, and building meaningful new friendships.
My vision for this group is to:
• Read broadly and boldly (all genres, all topics)
• Meet once a month (in person or online) for inspiring book discussions
• Build new, lasting friendships and authentic connections
• Support accountability, consistency, and personal growth
• Plan dinners, drinks, outings, or mini-group meetups beyond the book club meetings
This is more than a book club. It’s a social circle, a support system, and an accountability community for women who want to show up for themselves and each other again. A place to connect over great books and also great food, great drinks, and great conversation.
If you’re here for the reading, the friendships, or both, you belong here.
Let’s read, connect, and grow via one book, one conversation, one meetup at a time.
