BLIND TASTING: MULTIPLE CHOICE

For our November session, we will experiment with a modified blind tasting.
Each attendee is requested to choose an interesting wine, perhaps one that might be unusual or hard to guess, and cover up the bottle. The day before the event, each attendee will be sent a request for information about their selection (e.g., vintage, varietal and origin). This information will be incorporated into a list of possibilities which will be given to everyone at the event. Then we will attempt to guess which is which.
Everyone will take a turn presenting their selection and providing some background information about it.
We will all then share, taste and critique each bottle.
I will provide some tasting glasses but if you have some of your own, bring them along.
If you want to bring some food items to accompany your presentation, that would be welcome also.
I have reserved a large outdoor table for us on the recreation deck of our condo building in Kakaako. (Access details will be sent on the day before the event to those who RSVP.)
Because of space restrictions, we can only accommodate about a dozen people for this event.
