SPARKLING WINES AND DESSERT WINES

Let's start off the new year with something bubbly and something sweet. There are so many possibilities to choose from such as prosecco from Italy, cava from Spain and, of course, champagne from France. Similarly, you could choose a sauterne from France, a tokaj from Hungary or an ice wine from Germany.
Each participant is requested to bring either a (dry) sparkling wine or a sweet dessert wine. We will then taste all selections and critique each.
I will provide some tasting glasses but if you have some of your own, bring them along.
If you want to bring some food items to accompany your presentation, that would be welcome also.
I have reserved a large outdoor table for us on the recreation deck of our condo building in Kakaako. (Access details will be sent on the day before the event to those who RSVP.)
Because of space restrictions, we can only accommodate about a dozen people for this event.
