This Meetup group is for international people living in or visiting Madrid who want to discover wine as part of Spanish culture, not as a technical subject.
We explore wine as a social language: a way to understand history, places, traditions and everyday life in Spain — especially in Madrid and its wine bars and taverns.
This is not a technical wine tasting group!
No prior knowledge is required. Curiosity is enough.
What we do
Through small-group experiences, we combine:
• Spanish wine tastings (always approachable and carefully selected)
• Stories about history, regions, people and traditions
• Walks through traditional taverns and wine spaces in Madrid
• Open, relaxed conversation in an informal social setting
Wine is the starting point, not the goal.
