We’re so glad you joined! WineBudz is all about making new friends, enjoying good wine (or whatever you like to sip), and having fun together at local spots.

Here’s what to know as a new member:

14-Day FREE TRIAL— you’ll have a 14-day free trial to check out the group and attend events.

ANNUAL DUES — after the trial, dues are \$12 per year to help cover Meetup costs. (Meetup takes a \$1.40 fee, so the group actually receives \$10.60.) You can pay right through Meetup, or by cash, Venmo, or Zelle—just ask! If dues aren’t paid after 14 days, your membership will be removed automatically.

RSVP COURTESY — if you RSVP, please do your best to come or let the host know if plans change. Two no-call/no-shows = removal from the group, since venues and hosts count on accurate headcounts.

HOSTING — If you’d like to be a host, we’d love to have you! Hosts help keep our calendar full of fun events. To keep things active, hosts are expected to organize at least one event per quarter. If someone is listed as a host but hasn’t hosted in that time, we’ll simply move them back to member status until they’re ready to jump back in.

LIABILITY WAIVER- By joining and participating in WineBudz events, you agree your attendance is voluntary and at your own risk. The organizers and hosts are not responsible for any injury, illness, loss, or damage that may occur. Please drink responsibly and arrange safe transportation as needed.

Our hosts are all volunteers who love bringing people together, and your thoughtfulness helps keep the group welcoming and fun for everyone.
