Performance at The Passage - Tribute to Guns N' Roses

Second up is Son Of A Gun. This is a tribute to Guns N’ Roses, a Los Angeles hard rock band from the late ‘80s and early ‘90s. Fans consider "SonGun" to be THE best GNR cover band in the world. Fronted by Ari Kamin, this five-piece hard rock band is also based in Los Angeles, and brings a stadium -style vibe to any kind of venue. Since 2012, they have been touring all over the United States and quickly became the hottest band in L.A. You will hear all your GNR favorites, including their signature songs "Welcome to the Jungle", and #1 hit "Sweet Child o' Mine".

The venue is on the large lawn area with a scenic view of the water, probably the most spectacular outdoor concert site in the county. Up to one thousand people turn out for these shows, and the energy from the crowd and band is truly electrifying. Let’s plan on attending some (or all!) of these shows together in a beautiful Pacific Northwest setting. The venue serves very affordable BBQ dinners right on the green, typically $9 to $15 for a full meal deal (optional); drinks are separate. Once the music starts, the outdoor dancing deck under the huge lighted willow tree really gets rocking and rolling. If you are a Hard Rocker and/or fan of Guns N’ Roses this is your show . . . A limited number of free tickets may be available to Clearwater Players Club members (free membership), and $15 for non-members. Recommend you get yours EARLY to guarantee a spot (these shows may sell out well before July.) If you’re not close to the casino, let me know in the Comments section or private PM which show(s) you definitely plan to attend and I can pick up tickets for you. If free tickets are gone, then just pay for them via Venmo or Zelle. NOTE: Clearwater offers concert/hotel packages starting at $189 that include two free tickets and one night's lodging for those who party a little too hard before, during, or after the show… ;-) Grab a friend and split the cost.

Free parking garage, but Hwy 305 traffic jams begin after 6 pm. When entering Clearwater from 305, make an immediate right and go down the hill to enter the garage. Go to the 4th level or higher for free parking. Bring a lawn chair, light jacket, dancing shoes, AND a small blanket as sometimes the passage can get chilly at dusk. All concerts are Thursday nights 7 to 8:30 pm; I will arrive early to claim a prime spot for our group a few rows back from the stage and in the center section for the best sound quality. However, people arrive early so plan to be on the green by 6 pm for prime seating, drinks, and optional dinner plate before showtime. To find our group, look for the helium balloons tied to our chairs. Life is short, people . . . let’s party down and have some outdoor FUN this summer!
