Third in line is Danny Vernon & The Devilles, a faithful tribute to the “King of Rock”. Elvis Presley is one of the most iconic musicians in Rock & Roll history, widely regarded as a highly significant cultural figure of the late 20th century. His long-running appeal crosses multiple generations, with countless millions of fans worldwide. There have been hundreds of Elvis impersonators since Presley’s untimely death in 1977, but few can match the authenticity of the Pacific Northwest’s very own Danny Vernon and his “Illusion of Elvis.”

Danny is known for his high-energy Elvis Tribute shows that focus on connecting personally with his audience. He enjoys performing all three decades of Elvis’ career. This includes the “recklessly abandoned” hillbilly cat of the ‘50s, the sleek ‘60s movie star years (including the “ '68 Comeback Special”), and the sensual stud of the ‘70s jumpsuit era. He has won many awards over the last 15 years, including being endorsed as one of the Top 10 Elvis tribute artists in the world by Elvis Presley Enterprises in 2010. His favorite achievement was being voted “Best Young Elvis” by Elvis’ own friends and stage entourage in Palm Springs, CA.

If you have never seen Danny Vernon live, prepare to be stunned by how close he looks, moves, and SOUNDS like the original Elvis! On selected shows or songs, his charismatic red-headed wife Marcia may perform alongside him as “Ann-Margret”, adding a unique and enjoyable chemistry to the show. Danny himself loves to wade into the crowd and personally serenade his many female fans. (Maybe "Ann-Margaret" will serenade the few males in the audience?!?) If you are a fan of Elvis, this is your show . . . “It’s Now or Never”~!

A limited number of free tickets may be available to Clearwater Players Club members (free membership), and $15 for non-members. Recommend you get yours EARLY to guarantee a spot (these shows may sell out well before July.) If you’re not close to the casino, let me know in the Comments section or private PM which show(s) you definitely plan to attend and I can pick up tickets for you. If free tickets are gone, then just pay for them via Venmo or Zelle.

NOTE: Clearwater offers concert/hotel packages starting at $189 that include two free tickets and one night's lodging for those who party a little too hard before, during, or after the show… ;-) Grab a friend and split the cost.

Free parking garage, but Hwy 305 traffic jams begin after 6 pm. When entering Clearwater from 305, make an immediate right and go down the hill to enter the garage. Go to the 4th level or higher for free parking. Bring a lawn chair, light jacket, dancing shoes, AND a small blanket as sometimes the passage can get chilly at dusk.

All concerts are Thursday nights 7 to 8:30 pm; I will arrive early to claim a prime spot for our group a few rows back from the stage and in the center section for the best sound quality. However, people arrive early by 6 pm for prime seating, drinks, and optional dinner plate before showtime. To find our group, look for the helium balloons tied to our chairs. Life is short, people . . . let’s party down and have some outdoor FUN this summer!
