Tribute to The Beatles at The Point

The Beatles super-group was the first band of the “British Invasion” of the 1960s. They are the best-selling music act in history, with estimated sales of 650 million records and CDs worldwide. They hold the record for most #1 albums on the UK Albums Chart (15), the most #1 hits on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart (20), and the most singles sold in the UK (22 million). Bassist and songwriter Paul McCartney and drummer Ringo Starr are the only two surviving members of the original “Fab Four.”

In a grand tribute to this phenomenal group, “Paperback Writer - The Beatles Experience” is performing a special show at The Point on Tribute Tuesday. This international band has traveled to over 30 countries, performing for Beatlemania fans worldwide and aboard four major cruise lines, Disneyland, and theaters across the USA. You will hear early Beatle classics from the 1964 Ed Sullivan Show through the colorful Sgt. Pepper's years, on to the roof tops of Let It Be, performed with the look, personas, and sound of the original group.

The live set kicks off at 8:00 pm, until 10:00. We’ll get there early to claim a table(s). Join us for a drink and/or appetizer and a little conversation before the live music and dancing begins. Life is short everyone, so let’s meet up for a “Beatlemania” party! The show will be in the Boom-Boom Room, adjacent to Point Julia Café.

No cover charge, so this free concert is expected to be well attended! Our group always has a fantastic time at these Tuesday Tribute live shows.
