## Who we are

Welcome to Wined.Up! We’re a Sydney-based wine club for people who genuinely love wine (whether you’re just starting to explore or have been enjoying it for years.)

This group isn’t about expertise or pretension. It’s about curiosity, great bottles, good conversation, and sharing wine experiences with like-minded people. If you enjoy learning as you go, discovering new wines and share a committment to making our events fun and rewarding for all, a you’ll feel very at home here.

We love:

• Discovering quality wines (Australian and international)
• Wine tastings, wine dinners, and wine-focused experiences
• Travelling to wine regions (day trips and occasional weekends away)
• Learning more about wine in a relaxed, social setting

Experience level doesn’t matter - enthusiasm does.

## What we do

Events will vary, but typically include:

• Relaxed BYO tastings with a theme (region, varietal, style)
• More structured tastings or hosted events
• Wine dinners and wine events run by other organisations
• Occasional wine day trips or curated weekends away

Most events will be small-group and intentionally capped to keep things social and engaging.

## Who this group is for

• People who genuinely enjoy wine
• People who value quality, curiosity, and good company
• Beginners who are keen to learn and experienced drinkers who enjoy sharing
• Those happy to contribute a bottle or cover costs when required
• People who RSVP thoughtfully and respect the group

## Who this group is not for

• Anyone just looking for free drinks
• People who regularly RSVP and don’t show
• Those expecting a loud bar-crawl or party vibe

(There are great groups for that - this just isn’t one of them.)

## How often we meet

We plan to host regular events (roughly monthly). Attendance is flexible, but we do ask that if you RSVP “yes”, you genuinely intend to come - numbers and wine planning matter.
Some events will be BYO, others ticketed or cost-shared depending on the format.

## Joining Wined.Up

This is a friendly, welcoming, lightly curated group. When you request to join, you may be asked a couple of short questions - this just helps ensure the group stays aligned and enjoyable for everyone.
