What we're about

This group is for thinkers, doers, idea makers, independent workers, freelancers, telecommuters, entreprenerds, small businesses, startups, techies, non-profits, innovators, educators, mentors, workshop leaders, and coaches.

The overall goal of the WingSpace Coworking meetup group is to build an energetic community of independent workers in the Prescott Quad Cities area. Our meetups will be hosted by various small business owners based on their area of expertise. We are hell-bent on expanding the economic development focus in the Prescott Quad Cities area to include entrepreneurism. This group is for those who choose to live here for the rural lifestyle, the great weather, and the wonderful outdoor recreation - it's for those who want to work here and live here.

Easy & Ethical Data Harvesting from Website Search Results

WingSpace Coworking

Presenter: Jon Lee, owner of Data Aero Drone Services. Our business is all about DATA. We are in the startup phase of our company, and we are constantly looking for new clients and ways to engage those clients. The data gathered from websites can provide your small business with helpful information and insights that can inform their business practices and help them reach out to prospective consumers. With so much data available on the web, data harvesting has become a popular and at times necessary tool so companies have a more thorough knowledge of marketplaces, consumers, and competitors. This presentation will show you how to gather basic information that is displayed on website search results such as Bing, Google Maps, even local and state databases. We will go over how to create spreadsheets from this data to create a list to conduct direct mailers, make inquiries for soft introductions, and more. We will go over the simple tools to harvest data from website search results. To participate during the presentation go to the Chrome Web Store and add the Data Miner extension at: http://bit.ly/dataaero2 Gathering a customized database / list of potential clients, customers, competition does not have to be difficult or expensive. I will show you how to do this with just a few clicks of your mouse. Bring your lunch and something to take notes. This event is open to the public. FEE Non-members: $10 (you can pay at the front desk at WingSpace) Members: Included with membership
