FRIDAY MORNING HIKE - VIEWRIDGE TRAIL -IN TOPANGA

Info for the VIEWRIDGE TRAIL:
The Viewridge Trail can be made into a loop or out and back hike. The trail reaches an overlook on sandstone outcroppings with panoramic views over Topanga and the middle of the Santa Monica Mountains.
Some Interesting features of the trail include wooded groves and a bridge where the trail crosses over Santa Maria Creek.

Most of our group hikes will be between 4-5 miles long and will last about two hours, but you have an option to make the hike longer.
Our group have experienced hikers and others who would like to walk at a leisurely pace. In order to accommodate everyone, we will try and have two groups. You decide! Both may have leaders.

DOGGIES with leashes are always welcome.
PLEASE bring plenty of water and wear hiking shoes.
LOCATION : VIEWRIDGRE TRAIL
DIRECTIONS : Take the 101 Freeway to Topanga Bl. Go South and follow the road to the Viewridge Estates on Viewridge Rd. and turn LEFT. Drive to the end of the road. The trailhead will be on the right.

CHIPPING IN: Our group has been around for a while. This is a good sign, because there must be a reason that we are still going strong.
As you know it costs $$ to belong to Meetup. They keep raising the dues. They know that we have no choice.
