TUESDAY MORNING HIKE - TOP OF RESEDA BLVD. in TARZANA

No rain in the forecast & hopefully the trail will not be so MUDDY!

The Hike: TOP OF RESEDA. From the Mulholland Gateway Park to the Topanga “HUB” is a little over 5 miles out and back, But you can choose to go further. Temescal Peak adds more miles, and if you go to Eagle Rock, it will be almost 8 miles out and back.

Most of our hikes will be between 4-5 miles long and will last about two hours, but you have an option to make the hike longer.
Our group have experienced hikers and others who would like to walk at a leisurely pace. In order to accommodate everyone, we may have two groups. You decide! Both may have leaders.

PLEASE KNOW YOUR LIMITS!!
Doggies on leashes are always welcome.---except in CA State Parks.
PLEASE bring plenty of water and wear hiking shoes; maybe an extra pair of shoes.

DIRECTIONS: From the 101 Ventura Fwy take Reseda Blvd. exit turn south and follow until it ends at the park. GO SLOW – because there are many STOP signs along the way until you reach the end! You can choose to park free and walk to trail head or park closer in fee area.

CHIPPING IN: Our group has been around for a while. This is a good sign, because there must be a reason that we are still going strong.
As you know it costs $$ to belong to Meetup. They keep raising the dues. They know that we have no choice.
Anytime, that you feel that it is time to chip in, please do so.
It is 100% voluntary. Everyone is welcome, no matter what!!!
