FRIDAY MORNING HIKE - CABALLERO CANYON - in TARZANA

NOTE FOR THIS HIKE: The Caballero Canyon Trail is considered a moderate route. It is mostly a dirt single track trail with approx. 625 feet elevation gain over 1.7 miles. It makes a good 3.4 mile “out and back” round trip hike. Caballero Canyon is one of many trails that connects to "Dirt" Mulholland. When we reach the “unpaved” Mulholland Drive, there are many options to extend this hike and add more mileage.
Most of our group hikes will be between 4-5 miles long and will last about two hours, but you have an option to make the hike longer.
Our group have experienced hikers and others who would like to hike at a leisurely pace. In order to accommodate everyone, we may have two groups.
Please know your limitations. You decide! Both may have leaders.
PLEASE bring plenty of water 💧 and wear hiking shoes 🥾

DIRECTIONS: From the 101 Freeway, take Exit 23 for Reseda Blvd and Go south about 2 miles on Reseda. Watch for STOP SIGNS 🛑The trailhead is on your left.
CHIPPING IN: Our group has been around for a while. This is a good sign because there must be a good reason that we are going strong.
You may not know that is costs to belong to MEETUP. They keep raising the dues. They know that we do not have a choice.

It is not mandatory, it is 100% voluntary.
