Chess & Games @ Assiniboine Park

Hey Gamers! Chess & games @ Assiniboine Park first event was a success. I will continue to run the games @ Assiniboine Park for the summer.

Chess & games meetup with be at Nature Playground in Assiniboine Park on Sunday June 15 from 1:30pm to 5:30pm. We will play the games under a large covered structure that has many picnic tables. The first event it was 32C outside. Being under the covered structure made a noticeable difference in temperature as you have a lot of shade from the sun. You get a nice breeze too.

I have no idea of how busy this will be. We may need to spread out in the area. The June 1 event there were many tables available for us to use.

The parking lot can be accessed from Pavilion Crescent. Look at the map to see exactly where entrance is to the parking lot. Google maps does not display the road from Pavilion Crescent to the parking lot.

The covered structure is at the entrance of Nature Playground. There are the nice bathrooms very close by. Bring plenty of water!!

I will bring 4 chess boards, Hive, Splendor Duel, Air Land & Sea, Jaipur, Radlands. Bring your own favourite games too. Looking forward to meeting everyone!
