Chess & Games @ Assiniboine Park

Hey Gamers!

The previous event had heavy rain for the first 90 minutes or so. The gazebo kept us dry. If it rains at a future event do not worry about it.

Chess & games meetup will be at Nature Playground in Assiniboine Park on Sunday August 10 from 1:30pm to 5:30pm. We will play the games under a large gazebo that has many picnic tables. See uploaded image.

I cannot reserve tables and I have no idea of how busy this will be. We may need to spread out in the area. All previous events had plenty of tables for us to use.

You can park wherever you want in the park. The map I uploaded shows the nearest parking lot circled in pink. It is a 1 minute walk from there to the gazebo marked by a big pink X.

There are the nice bathrooms very close by. Bring plenty of water!!

I will bring 6 chess boards, Hive, Splendor Duel, Air Land & Sea, Jaipur, Radlands, Codenames. Bring your own favourite games too. Looking forward to meeting everyone!
