Winnipeg R User Group Meeting #12 - Reprex and Datapasta
One day you will need to ask for help on questions regarding coding, research design, or statistical analysis, including choosing proper machine learning models.
'reprex' and 'datapasta' will render your data so that it's friendly to ask questions over forums when you do not have the knowledge or someone immediate to help you.
'reprex', by Jenny Bryan, is part of the Tidyverse; and stands for “Reproducible Example”.
'datapasta' allows for very easy copying and pasting your data; and is used easily with 'reprex'.
These tools are excellent, especially if you have errors in your code and have no idea why they are happening, and you need to ask someone for help.
In this meeting, Marcello Nesca will demonstrate how the use of 'reprex' and 'datapasta' tools are “Best Practices” for data reproducibility.
Please bring a laptop computer if you wish to do the hands-on exercises at this meeting.
