Host Open: Abacoa free concert: Journey tribute band

We love the free concerts at Abacoa amphitheater. This is a fabulous venue with loads of restaurants and ample parking in either the covered garage or along the roads if you get there early. In season, the winter women get together for dinner at one of the many restaurants in Abacoa. We bring our chairs at the mornings and stake out a spot front and center of the stage. Not too close to the speakers and not too far back to miss the fun.

In summer, our Group organizer is back in North Carolina, so we would love for someone to step up to hosting and possibly even select a restaurant for dinner. We can change the time to meet up at 5:30.

But the fun doesn’t stop in summer, so we’ll continue to post these events and attendees can communicate via the private comments below.

As always, if there is a host, please be mindful of your RSVP to not leave her standing there wondering if you’re coming. Some recommended restaurants are Hokkaido, which continues their happy hour even on Saturdays, or Jumby Bay, known for their amazing seafood or salad salads.
