What we're about

If you're into reading, trivia, book clubs, writing, arts & culture, self-directed education, literacy, or other enriching activities, this is your group! We hold a variety of events throughout the year for all ages. We celebrate literature, culture, diversity, and learning! We encourage you to learn and empower yourself or meet others with shared interests.

Our meetups include everything from read-ins, crafting, DIY classes like how to preserve jams, book discussion groups like the Mystery Book Club or Books & Brews, to special performers or presenters like playwrights, poets, authors, or professors. We hold author meet-and-greets and historical presentations about music, film, and literature. Our green meetups feature health and wellness topics and environmental studies. If you're a person with a lot of diverse interests, join our group for the latest updates on the happenings at the library!

We're always interested in feedback from members on what kinds of meetups you'd like to see the library hold.

The Winter Park Public Library, the oldest public library in Central Florida, is an award-winning non-profit institution that provides education, entertainment, and enlightenment to the community.
